At Slow Food’s Salone del Gusto in Turin two years ago , Tim Truluck attended a sensory exploration workshop where participants are guided through an exploration of the 5 senses of touch, hearing, seeing, feeling and taste. A video, and a chocolate and apple tasting were included in the workshop.
Using materials received from Italy, Tim has adapted the workshops for South Africa. Over the next few months, Tim will host several of these workshops as well as instruct our sister convivium in Cape Town on how to host them.
If you’re interested in learning more about your senses and how they interact with food, then sign up for the workshop. A light supper will be served after the exploration.
